Bob Morse has over twenty years of experience as usability expert in a variety of industries. He has extensive experience working on both software and hardware interfaces. He has designed and evaluated visual user interfaces for client-server applications, browser-based applications, web sites and mobile applications. He has also designed and evaluated voice user interfaces for mobile phones and network speech systems.

Mr. Morse has experience providing a full range of user experience services, including:

• Leading UI design teams
• Gathering user requirements
• Conducting focus groups
• Conducting expert analysis of existing user interfaces
• Designing the information architecture for products and web sites
• Creating high-level and detailed user interface designs
• Writing user interface specifications
• Creating user interface style guides
• Designing and conducting usability tests
• Designing, executing and analyzing customer feedback questionnaires

His work at Da Vinci Usability has included projects for The Vanguard Group, LDiscovery, Nuance, ScanSoft, SpeechWorks, Biometrix, Affinio Corporation, Bose Corporation, Cogentric, Digital Equipment Corp., Monsanto, ESCA and SmartRoute Systems.

Before founding Da Vinci Usability, Mr. Morse was a Senior Human Factors Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he developed expertise in the field of usability testing. He has authored papers on workplace analysis, video display design, and on human factors and its involvement in the design process. Mr. Morse has a B.S. in Engineering Psychology from Tufts University and is a member of the Usability Professionals Association and the Human Factors Society.
